Ruby Ibarra is a Rapper, Lyricist and a Spoken Word Artist from the California, USA. Born in the Philippines and raised in the Bay Area, Ruby Ibarra's style includes the influences of 90's Hip-Hop with the elements of Poetry as you can hear in most of her tracks which she described as "a variety of topics -- boastful raps, about my culture, society, politics, my experiences, and stories of others that I feel haven't been told too often.”
She will be performing live at Sev's Cafe, Legaspi Towers 300, Roxas Boulevard cor. P. Ocampo St., Malate, Manila this coming July 6, 2015 before flying back to the US. The entrance for the event is FREE and will be featuring local poets and spoken word artists so you better be there.
